  i’m a med tech at Senior Haven and absolutely love it! The job is great, staff is wonderful, and residents are amazing! The staff really does go above and beyond and i am so excited to come into work every day. Would 10/10 recommend !

  There is truth in Senior Haven's website representations of the care provided to residents and the facility itself. My husband arrived having been months in a specialty hospital and a skilled nursing facility; both facilities egregiously overstating or concealing information about medical services, staffing, outsourced connections, and the law. Having worked urgently through the State Ombudsman, SHIBA, and “A Place for Mom”, our family was thankful to be directed to a safe haven where his unique needs and life history are acknowledged, respected, and attended to. There is only one chance to make a first impression, and Senior Haven team delivered, not only on my first visit but with their continuing dedication to competent and compassionate care. Communication too has been very helpful in caring for my husband. A relative newcomer, he has been warmly welcomed by all on-site staff, outside medical providers, and residents (who have made a point of telling us what a good place it is to live). Given the nature of health care in America, and particularly caring for our vulnerable elders, Senior Haven seems to have the leadership and team in place to follow through with their assurances. It is a relatively small building with a homey atmosphere, very clean, and the food is good.

  Workers here are great
However management here are very immature and unprofessional.
there are no benefits, meanwhile you work at other places you get bonuses for picking up shift here you don’t.

  I loved working here. I love most all of the caregivers and med techs.  It was an honor and a privilege to care for the residents! Most employees there are full of love! Some people who have left were so warm and loving and made me feel welcome from day one. But then some left and it was so sad but then others came who were so nice. I loved the residents soo much. I loved my managers at  first. But things did change unfortunately and certain staff were still great but many were unreliable without a worth ethic. And some members of management were basically  plain not nice and disrespectful . There were some incidents that were handled so so poorly . I was hoping to work here for the rest of my career but unfortunately there were unacceptable , unprofessional incidents with management and I felt betrayed after my hard work and dedication. I was loved by my coworkers , ie med techs, caregivers, activities , front desk . But many quit due to management problems which basically amounted to poor treatment ,
Unprofessionalism and betrayal. But perhaps if management changes , it could be wonderful . It was exciting because they got approved for memory care for the front section.
